Child Sponsorship

Empower a Child and their Community to Break free from Poverty for good

What is Child Sponsorship

Sponsoring a child is a chance to establish a personal connection with a child and their family who are in need, through monthly or quarterly recurring contributions. By becoming a child sponsor, you can make a tangible difference in the life of a child. Your support will provide them with access to education, healthcare, clean water, and other essentials that they need to grow and develop.

Our child sponsorship program is simple and transparent. You will receive regular updates about your sponsored child's progress. You will also have the opportunity to correspond with your sponsored child and build a meaningful relationship with them.

You can choose a child to sponsor, or be chosen

Sponsoring a child creates a long-lasting bond between you and a young girl or boy.  You have two options for sponsoring a child: you can select the child yourself among the profiles provided, or you can sign up to be chosen by the organisation as a sponsor.

The beginning of a sponsorship journey, marks the beginning of a connection that can help transform a child’s life – and maybe yours too.

To become a child sponsor, you'll be required to please follow these steps:

  1. Choose a child to sponsor: Browse our profiles of children in need and choose one that you would like to support. Each child's profile includes their name, age, photo, and a brief description of their background and needs.

  2. Select a sponsorship level: We offer three levels of sponsorship: Basic, Standard, and Premium. Each level provides a different level of support to the child, with Premium providing the most comprehensive support.

  3. Complete the sponsorship form: Fill out our sponsorship form (issued upon request) with your contact information and payment details. You will be asked to select a payment frequency (monthly or quarterly) and provide your preferred method of payment.

  4. Start your sponsorship: Once we receive your sponsorship form, we will send you a welcome package with information about your sponsored child and instructions on how to correspond with them through the respective program department. You will also receive regular updates about your sponsored child's progress.

Here's an overview of how our child sponsorship program works:

  • We are a community-led organization: that collaborates closely with communities to address the underlying causes of poverty. We aim to enable every child to grow into their full potential as envisioned by God.

  • We are child-focused: seeking to empower children to grow spiritually, and develop healthy bodies and minds, ensuring that they have the tools they need to achieve long-term success for themselves and their families.

  • We maximize impact by pooling the monthly donations of sponsors with those of other community members to address the most pressing issues that children face. In fact, because of our community-focused solutions, for every child you help, three more benefit too.

Children are provided with books.

The provision of exercise books to children ensures that they have the necessary tools to engage in learning and education. These books allow children to take notes, practice writing, and complete assignments, which are critical to their academic progress. By providing access to exercise books, we are enabling children to develop their cognitive abilities, increase their knowledge, and improve their chances of future success.

Girls and Women Empowerment

When girls and women have access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities, they are more likely to invest in their families and communities, leading to improved social and economic outcomes. Additionally, when they are empowered, they are better equipped to advocate for their rights, challenge gender stereotypes, and participate in decision-making processes. It is essential to prioritize girls and women empowerment to build a more equitable and just society.
